I was just wondering, how do you feel having people ask you to design a tattoo? That would just be amazing to think someone would have your work tattooed permanently onto their skin.
It’s one of the best compliments around! If someone enjoys my style enough to (like you said) have something I’ve created permanently on their skin… that’s wonderful. I’m envious of tattoo artists. It would be so sick to do that as a career.
yoooooooooo girl so i saw your art......and also saw you go to tyler im going there next year, pretty much nervous as hell hahahh do you like it there?
That’s awesome!!! Tyler rules. First year is tough because it is foundation year so its just a big work load but it’s still a good time! You gotta find me. I can show you around and what not! What are you interested in? major wise?
You're Gorgeous first of all.
Second, you're artwork has inspired me like crazy.
And third, the question, how do you like Temple? I am considering that school a lot. and wanted to know an inside opinion.
Thank youu. (: ps, keep up the amazing work!
Thank you for the lovely compliments…
I love Temple! It has such a diverse campus, student body, and just tons of things to do. I mean, it might not be in the best location (North Philly)… But that would be my only complaint! I mean you just shouldn’t be wandering alone at 3 am and you’ll be fine. Besides that, you’re only a short bike ride/subway stop away from center city and everything else offered in Philadelphia! Thank you so much again!
Keep in touch and let me know if you have any more questions! I’d be happy to answer!
Your work is honestly stunning and eye-catching and gooorgeous.
When you work with pastels, in what way do you use them? I mean do you simply draw with them, or do you grind them into powder and brush the color on, or another method? Just curious, I've never been good with that medium, but its results are so ideal-looking.
Thank you soso much! I appreciate it miss!
Normally when I use pastels I lay in the block of color and then use my hand and fingers to smudge, smear, blend and fiddle with. I’m not a fan of using paper or a rag to blend unless I want it to be blocked solidly… I do the same with charcoal. I use to despise chalk pastels until I was forced to use them this year. Now, I kindaa dig them. :) Thanks again, keep in touch.
your work is inspiring! it's such a different style than what i'm used to seeing and i absolutely love it..i'm a sophomore in highschool and i'm still deciding whether or not i want to go to art school. you're amazing!
Thank you so much! You have no idea how much that means. If I inspire anything or anyone..that is wonderful. For me, deciding to go to art school was an easy decision. This was, however, because I feel like I didn’t really find my niche in anything else.. Take some classes outside of what your high school offers! Then, I’m sure, your decision might become less foggy…You have more then enough time to figure it out! Keep in touch<3
I absolutely love your drawings and I'm just curious, do you create these characters about people in your life, or are they just creatures from your imagination?
Thank you kindly miss!
I like this question. The little doodles of characters are normally born in my brain… But others I use reference photos of friends or strangers. Sometimes I’m inspired by someone I know… like the expression, or posture or hair. <3
